The new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder 2013 Nissan Altima produces a respectable 182 horsepower, while also delivering a 27 miles to the gallon in the city and an impressive 38 miles to the gallon on the highway. A 3.5-liter V6 engine is also available for the Altima, which produces 270 horsepower and delivers 22 and 30 mpg in the city and highway, respectively.
If the fuel economy doesn't turn you onto the refined Altima, then the new appearance may do the trick. The 2013 Nissan Altima has a wider stance, boomerang headlights (similar to that of the 370z, Juke, and other Nissans), and a more aerodynamic body.
On the inside, the car is equipped with seats that are meant to keep passengers in a balanced, comfortable position. The interior looks much more top-notch and luxurious, which gives it a more inviting appeal. A new standard feature on all new Altima's (called the Advanced Drive-Assist Display) shows driver information on a 4-inch color screen.
